Lewis College, English Bulldog Roxie, my running companion Spader, who is a Shab - Shepherd Lab mix, and tabby cat Abby
Favorite restaurant: Tres Portrillos for Mexican food and margaritas
Favorite movie: Christmas Vacation, the Bourne movies, Marx Bros. movies
Favorite tv show: Arrested Development
Favorite book: If I Never Get Back - a book about time travel and baseball
Why did you start running/walking: Thought I was having a midlife crisis when I turned 30.
Running/walking since: 1984
RMRR member since: Ran my first road runner race in 1984, probably joined then.
How did you learn about the RMRR:   ???
Weekly mileage:   Anywhere between 20 and 30
Favorite place to run/walk: The trails on the Dakota Ridge Hogback and Deer Creek Canyon, York Gulch, other mountain trails
Favorite workout: Any trail run that I don't see a rattlesnake
Most satisfying performance: 2006 NYC Marathon, my 25th marathon, where after a period of decline in my running times, ran 30 minutes faster than my previous marathon time.
Favorite RMRR event:  Waterton Canyon
What do you like about RMRR?  Forces myself to run the trophy series races instead of being lazy and watching TV Sunday morning
Other: I have run 25 marathons, including 9 times at NYC, my absolute favorite. I have run over 700 road races, which, as my wife tells me is way too many t-shirts. My kids ran cross country and track in high school, and still run with me occassionally. I especially enjoy running marathons with Derrick.
