November 2026 Trophy Series – 15Km and 5Km at Prairie Gateway Park

  • November sees RMRR running at Prairie Gateway Park in Commerce City. 
  • When: Sunday, November 1st
    • The 15Km Trophy Series will start at 8:30 am (or after for handicap) 
    • The 5 km race will start at 9:00 for everyone
  • This is our next to last race for the year, and a great opportunity for people to improve their Trophy Series scores.  
  • We run on a relatively flat and fast packed gravel trail – good surface for comfortable running and some faster times!

Two important timing things to remember:

  1. Our November race starts at 8:30 am or 9:00 depending on what distance you are racing.
  2. Daylight Savings Time begins at 2am before our race.  Set your clock back the night before…or just come early to sign in and help.  Either one is ok!

Race Day Details

Date:   November 1st
Time:   8:30 am start for the 15 km, 9:00 am start for the 5 km.  Show up at least 45 minutes early to get your tag and warm up.  Don’t make the volunteers wait for you – they want to run, too!
Course:  race runs on the Prairie Gateway trails and to the north on the Arsenal border trail.

Participation Guidelines:
 
    • No Dogs: Pets of any kind are not allowed on the course
    • No Running Strollers: Strollers and baby joggers are not permitted on the route
    • No Exceptions: Anyone arriving with a dog or stroller will not be permitted to join the run
 

We’re always looking for running and non-running volunteers, so come help out!

Since Rocky Mountain Road Runners is an all-volunteer organization, online registration will not be available the day before the race to allow our volunteers to prepare for the race. October 2026 Trophy Series – Sand Creek Trail in Aurora

 

  • Come join us for either an 8 mile or a 5 km race in Aurora at the Star K Ranch.

  • October is always beautiful, please come and join us for a great race!!!!

Race Details

Date: Sunday October 4th

Start Time:   The 8 mile will start at 8:30 am. 5km will start later. Approximately 8:45 am.

Course: Check out the 8 mile course on MapMyRun.

Location: Star K Ranch in Aurora. It is located at 16002 E. Smith Rd., Aurora, CO 80011

September 2026 Trophy Series – Trailhead Park

Come join us for either a 10 km or a 5 km race at Trailhead Park. 

  • September is always beautiful, please come and join us for a great race!!!!

Race Day Details

Date:   Sunday September 13th

Time:  8:00 am and 8:00am + hcp start for the 10km runners. All of the 5km runners will start 10-15 minutes after. 

Location:

Platte River Trailhead Park in Denver near 88th and Colorado Blvd. 

Parking:

Plenty of parking at the park.

August 2026 Trophy Series – deKoevend Park

Join us on Friday August 2nd at 6:30 pm for the August Trophy Series race and picnic at deKoevend Park in Centennial.  This year our friends with the Colorado Masters will be joining us again for a great race and a fun post-race picnic!! We will be providing hamburgers, hot dogs, soda, and seltzer. We ask that you bring your own pot-luck picnic fare. We will be running this race with our usual mass start for the August race.

Race Day Details

Date:   Friday August 7th
Time:   6:30 pm start.
Course:  race runs on dirt paths through deKoevend park on part on the highline canal. Check out the course map on MapMyRun or Strava.

Location:  deKoevend park in Centennial – at 6315 S. University Blvd. The start is located just to the south of Goodson Recreation Center.
