Spring 2014 Marathon Training Series #3 – Results

Again we got fortunate with the weather. Nice morning for a long run…and tomorrow’s weather looks pretty dicey.

Ryan Turbyfill (time of 1:06:22), Christine Adamowski (1:10:04), and Joan McMahon(1:25:06) came in 1-2-3 for the 10M race, and Carl Mather (2:20:49), Ron Nies (2:32:12), and Alex Johnson (2:35:10) finished 1-2-3 in the 20M race.

Thanks to race directors Deb Cunningham and Michael Cosper, along with all the volunteers who helped the race go well.

Spring 2014 Marathon Training Series #2 – Results

Our timing was right this week – nice cool morning for the MTS, with the snow waiting until tomorrow!

RyanTurbyfill (time of 1:07:00), Dean Jaeger (1:23:09), and Katie Stevenson (1:25:16) came in 1-2-3 for the 10M race, and Carl Mather (2:18:58), Jay Survil (2:26:11), and Ron Nies (2:37:27) finished 1-2-3 in the 20M race.

Stapleton Central Park – May Trophy Series

May takes us to Stapleton Central park and a run 5 mile and 5k run. Don’t forget – May means we begin at 8am, so don’t be late!

May usually brings us fine weather, so let’s hope for a repeat of April. It can get hot, though, so be ready for anything.

Race Day Details

Date: Sunday May 4
Time: 8am start. Show up at least a half hour early to get your tag and warm up. Don’t make the volunteers wait for you – they want to run, too!
Course: race runs on concrete bike paths through the park.
Location: Stapleton Central Park in Denver.

We’re always looking for running and non-running volunteers!

Spring 2014 Marathon Training Series #1 – Results and Photos

It was a nice day for a long run – and 61 of you did just that! The March 30 Marathon Training Series race saw lots of people getting ready for their spring goal races.

Cecilia Pascual Garrido and Peyton Daily were the 1 and 2 women for the 10M race, with Carl Mather and Keith Johnson doing the same for the men. Steve Chu and Chris Desilets finished 1-2 in the 20M race, and Taylor Survil and Randi Strand finished in 1st and 2nd for the women.

Thanks to race director David Rothenburger and all the volunteers who made things go so well!
